Asset Inspect serves as an independent partner to underwriters, brokers, and property owners, providing the essential risk information needed to secure better insurance terms. By combining our best-practice field work (specifically Insurance Risk Surveys, Building Replacement Cost Reports, and Thermal Scans) into a single site visit, we deliver the clarity required to avoid underinsurance while saving our clients significant time and money.

Our Risk Consultants are all employees – we do not use contractors. This ensures quality for our clients and brand consistency, as well as enabling continual investment in ongoing training and the use of up-to-date, industry-leading technology.

We have a dedicated team of Client Relations Executives based in our Sydney Head Office who ensure clients’ needs are met through efficient and effective scheduling. In-house scheduling also allows us to provide cost-savings for shared travel, for risks in regional and remote locations.

Andrew Squires |  Executive Director

In 2009, Andrew co-founded Asset Inspect with the vision of delivering a national risk consultancy service to the insurance industry, grounded in best practice principles for property risk mitigation.

​

With a distinguished 34-year career in the property and insurance sectors, Andrew has cultivated a deep knowledge across all asset classes, enabling him to provide clients with unparalleled technical insights and training.

​

Andrew also oversees core technical business functions, including onboarding, training, and professional development of our consultants.

Tien Squires |  Executive Director

As co-founder, Tien has been part of the Asset Inspect landscape since its inception, kicking off her career within the insurance industry.

​

In the early days, Tien’s focus was on learning about all things insurance whilst running a small business, undertaking all operational activities, from administrative tasks to scheduling, through to finance and reporting.

 

Fast forward 16 years, with the exponential growth of the business, Tien now serves as Executive Director. Her current responsibilities include driving our strategic growth, market positioning, operational efficiency, and overseeing comprehensive financial management.

Michelle Lally |  Operations Lead

Michelle joined Asset Inspect in 2024 as a Client Relations Executive. Bringing valuable experience from her previous role as Human Resource Project Coordinator at Komatsu Mining. Michelle now serves as Asset Inspect's Operations Lead.

Michelle’s responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations and performance management, alongside supporting our Field and Client Relations Executive Teams.

 

Michelle ensures that operational practices and performance align with our company vision, while ensuring the continuous delivery of exceptional client service.

Edwina Feilen |  Head of Growth & Partnerships

With 30 years’ experience across the insurance and finance sectors, Edwina's breadth of knowledge and expertise has seen Edwina work with a wide range of clients including insurers, brokers, commercial, government and private enterprise. Edwina is a SME (Subject Matter Expert) in all things strata and currently serves as Director on the Board of SCA (Strata Community Association) NSW.

 
With a fresh approach to our service offerings and strategic growth, Edwina is critical in identifying opportunities for service expansion and diversification. Focused on adapting to changing market conditions and legislative requirements, Edwina enhances Asset Inspect's commitment to our clients and partners.
